Life tends to get hectic around the holidays. Family comes into town, a bunch of holiday traditions to do, and lots of baking. With all of this craziness happening it is best to not forget about our furry friends. Here are 5 ways you can get your pups involved in the holiday traditions.

1 . Take your furry four legged friend on a walk to see the holiday lights.

Not only will you enjoy the beauty of the sparkling lights of the neighborhood, but your pup will also love to get out and get in the holiday spirit with you. It is also a perfect way to incorporate your walks during this time. Just be sure to bring your pup a coat if they do not have a lot of fur to keep them warm.

2 . Check out your neighborhood for some doggie holiday events.

Some shelters offer events and even pictures with the big man himself. Perfect for your holiday cards! This is a perfect way to incorporate your fur baby into holiday activities.

3 . Cut out some time from the craziness for quality cuddles.

We recommend a good cuddle session with your pup curled up next to the fireplace, hot cocoa in hand, and preferably a good movie to get you in the spirit!

4 . Let your pup in the holiday photos this year.

Not only will friends and family be excited to see a card from you, but would love to see how much that furry friend has grown this year. Especially this year with people not fully able to see family they will be grateful to see you and your adorable pup. You get extra points if you make matching ugly sweaters for each of you!
